CHAPTER 4

Erica

Erica locked eyes with the predator inside her mate and smirked.

“Julius, what’s wrong? Are you okay?”

Julius grunted and instead of responding, he pulled her into a rough kissed, then grabbed the back of her neck, bent her over against the booth, and filled her deep. Julius barely gave her time to adjust to him before he started pounding her. Not that he needed to, she was dripping wet and aching for him to give it to her.

“This is why you don’t tease me,” he said, freeing her hair from her bun, then twisted it around his hand and used it to yank her back to him. “Because I lose all damn control.”

A filthy moan wrenched from her throat just as the song changed. He filled her again, pushing into her so deep, she couldn’t see the sprays of light dashing around the club anymore.

What the hell was she thinking taking that drink? She never needed an enhancement. The feeling of his cock filling her to the brink magnified past all reason. She felt like she was going to rip in half.

“Julius, it’s… It’s too much.”

“Is it? But you’re taking me so well. See?” He filled her up. A wash of pleasure doused her and her body shook.

“Shit,” she cried out.

“It feels incredible, doesn’t it?” Just hearing him, half unhinged and ready to bring her into the insanity of their pleasure made her wetter despite the impossibility. He filled her again, then yanked her ponytail to get her attention. “Doesn’t it?”

“Yes.”

“And you want me to continue, don’t you?” He plunged in again. The overpowering feeling of being filled made her arch her back to take him deeper.

“Fuck, yes,” she whimpered.

“Good. Now, let me take care of you, mate.” His words were smooth like velvet, a sweet juxtaposition to the dominant force he’d be come.

He nudged her knees wider, and instinctively, she anchored herself on her elbows and prepared for the onslaught of his pleasure.

A trail of their coupling dripped from them and onto the pristine, freshly covered booth cushion. Stick was going to kill them when he realized what she and Julius had been up to.

“I’ll get it recovered,” Julius growled, “Now, let’s make it worth the reupholstery fee.”

He pushed into her again and again. It was almost as though he relished in making her wetness drip onto the booth as he fucked her with abandon.

“You’re so fucking beautiful like this,” he murmured into her ear before sinking his fangs into her neck. “Letting me show you off, letting everyone know you’re fucking mine.”

Frick.

“Look at them, Erica,” he guided her face to look at the crowded bar. There had to be at least 250 people downstairs, if not more, all within walking distance. “Now, tell them all who you belong to.”

He filled her again and she cried out, silently begging him to fuck her until she couldn’t walk. No, fuck her so that she screamed so loud everyone could hear who she belonged to. Pieces of her thoughts must’ve flickered through the bond because Julius let out a low, dark chuckle.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that,” he said. “Did you want me to show them?” He grabbed her hips to plunge deeper. “Like this?”

The fullness she felt stretching around his cock made her gasp. He didn’t give her time to answer, just fucked her hard. The force of it made her crawl forward.

“No, no. You’re not going anywhere.” He dug his fingers into her hips and held her in place. “This is what happens when you tease me,” he said, his voice gruff and near orgasm. Then, she would tease him more often. She let him take control and fill her to the point where her cries turned into screams of sheer bliss. “Look at me, Erica.”

Her eyes shot open and she twisted to see him. The emerald-eyed businessman she’d spent her days with had vanished. In his place was the sexiest vampire alive with his fangs down, his eyes like shiny glass marbles, and her blood coating his lips. Seeing him as a full-vampire in public made a piece of her unlatch.

“Is this what you want?”

She whimpered.

“With your words, Erica.”

She gasped, then cried out, “Yes. Exactly what I want.”

As her reward, he let himself go feral. He worked her so hard and so fast, she couldn’t see straight.

One thing about sex with a vampire, they never seemed to tire. Julius’s stamina made her brain hurt just at the thought of keeping up. There was no way, with every nerve ending she had firing, that she wasn’t going to pass out with him slamming into her this deep.

She clutched around him to slow him, but the vampire inside her was relentless. He tapped into their bond, then flooded it with more lust. He had to sense she was on the brink of overwhelm, but he ratcheted her higher, climbing her to her highest peak and coaxed her to jump off.

But she needed more. She needed to feel more than his skin on her as he enveloped her in the cocoon of his arms. She needed to feel him.

“I—I need,” she panted but couldn’t quite get her words out, but Julius understood.

He flipped her over onto her back, then covered her with his body, and claimed her mouth so viciously, she was sure she’d have a busted lip by the time they were through. Yet it didn’t matter, only feeling the heat of Julius as he plunged into her so deep, she couldn’t breathe.

Their bond opened. A rush of Julius’s soul raced into her, curling her with his need, his desire, and his love. His emotions were strong, visceral, and overwhelming. And just what she needed.

A wave of pleasure shot through her, rumbling from her core through every centimeter of her body. A flurry of gold raced across her eyes as her back arched. She clutched onto him, digging her nails into his back as the force of her orgasm speckled her eyes.

“I love you,” she cried out.

It was as if those simple words had the magic to tame him. He stilled, growing impossibly hard inside her, and spilled his warmth into her. Their bond relatched.

“Love you too. Always,” he breathed a relaxed sigh, then snuggled into her neck, and breathed quietly. “That was amazing.”

She agreed.

Through the bond, Julius’s tension released and his stress died back as their mutual euphoria took hold. His breathing was heavy and slow and he kissed her languidly. She got lost in the feeling of him as he stroked her back while she caught her breath.

Julius didn’t have a care in the world. It was as though he realized the paperwork sitting on his desk was just a formality. The deal he’d been working on with her boss would go through. There was nothing to worry about.

It took ages for her heartrate to return to normal and her breathing to even out, but she relished in the serenity that radiated through their bond.

“We do this again next year,” he said firmly. There wasn’t any debate. He liked having his vampire out and in control. So did she.

“Of course, but next time I think I’ll skip the drink. There’s only one wicked vampire I need and that’s you.”
